| Uzumlu
-The village of Uzumlu is one of spectacular natural
beauty, set in a valley surrounded by dense pine forests
and rugged hillsides. Uzumlu has managed to retain all
the natural charm and character of a traditional Turkish
village and yet still has the convenience of a modern
town like Fethiye which is just twenty minutes drive
away. This relaxed village is an ideal location for
those looking for a little peace and quiet, breathtaking
scenery and the enchantment of rural life. |

|
| Calis
- Located on the fringes of Fethiye, Calis is a lively
town with a laid-back atmosphere, with villas and apartments
just a few minutes' walk from the stunning 10km stretch
of beach - some of which is designated for the turtles
that return to lay their eggs in the sand each year.
The temperature is often a few degrees warmer than up
the hill at Hisaronu. |

Ciftlik
- Set in a rural area with Dalaman Airport just a
45 minute drive away, this picturesque village is
ideal for those looking for a 'get away from it all'
area. The main road has several shops and there is
a local shingle beach with the beach and resort of
Calis just two kilometres away.

| Fethiye
- Fethiye sits at the foot of the magnificent Taurus
mountain range. Snow-tipped from December to April,
the lower slopes are thick with fragrant pine and sweet
almond groves, offering a spectacular and unforgettable
vista. Once a small market and fishing village, Fethiye
town has become a thriving harbour town and tourist
attraction, popular with British residents. Fethiye
dates back to the 6th century BC and is steeped in history.
Throughout the town, traces of the ancient Lycian settlements
can be seen, including the amazing rock tombs in the
east of the town. |

| Gocek
- Just a short hop from Dalaman Airport, Gocek is perennially
popular with the yachting fraternity, having become
the main centre for flotilla and Gullet sailing holidays.
Set at the north-western end of the Fethiye Bay, Gocek
is blessed with magnificent scenery. Backed by majestic
mountains and substantial pine forests it looks out
over the Twelve Islands, which provide shelter for the
resort's almost circular bay and which offer plethora
of secret coves and sandy bays, accessible only from
sailing boats. The pretty village centre has a handful
of shops, bars and restaurants, with the bright lights
of Fethiye only a 10 or 15 minute drive distant. |

Hisaronu
and Ovacik
nestle side by side on the plateau between the Mendos and
Babadag Mountains, overlooking the Blue Lagoon. The lively
village of Hisaronu is bustling with shops, bars and restaurants
aplenty and is within a short dolmus journey of the beach
at Olu Deniz, Fethiye and the ghost town at Kayakoy. Like
its near neighbour, Ovacik benefits from a refreshing breeze
and slightly fresher climate than Fethiye town and is a
peaceful and relaxing spot, with a pretty collection of
small hotels, apartments and villas plus a sprinkling of
restaurants and shops.
The views across the valley are breathtaking, as are the
sunsets.
